What is the commission split?
Like all agencies, there’s an individual contract with each insurance carrier. Example: Mutual of Omaha, Forresters, Americo. The agency can determine who gets what contract level based on experience. With our FMCIS Agency, every agent gets the same contract. Every agent will split the commission paid out with FMCIS Agency in exchange for access to the Virtual Life Insurance Agents Academy agent portal.

How many Carriers and What Carriers do you work with?
There are 75+ carriers. The agent decides which carrier they want to be contracted with and the contracting process starts after an insurance application has been submitted.

Can I sign a new contract with an insurance carrier that I’m currently contracted with if the FMCIS Agency contract offered is higher?
Yes, you will remain an independent insurance agent who can control which contract they keep or cancel with all insurance carriers. You will be responsible for initiating the contract release process with your existing relationships.

Can I remain contracted with my current insurance carriers, IMO/FMO, and/or agencies?
Yes, you will remain an independent agent. You will be able to keep all carrier contracts you currently have and can pick and choose the contracts that new contracts that you want to sign.

There are two options to join the FMCIS Agency with 2 different financial investments and resources included. (1) To join the FMCIS Agency Insurance Team ONLY - No access to agent portal (no sales, strategy, virtual agent training support). The commission split is 75/25. (2) To join the FMCIS Agency Insurance Team + Virtual Agent Training - Agent portal access for Weekly LIVE coaching,support, & training tools. $54 / mo + 75/25 commission split You can cancel your contract with FMCIS Agency at any time.

The VLIAA has been so helpful. One thing in particular I like is the calendar with ideas to post for each day of the month. I struggle big time with consistency online so this tool that Stacie L. Daniel has created is a godsend. It even has detailed information in their for engagement post, holidays, quotes, etc. If you aren’t already in the academy, I urge you to join. Especially if you deal with consistency and struggling with what to post.
